Project Instructions

Step 1

Getting Started:

Please make sure your work area is covered and you are not working on an unprotected surface. We recommend working on the Sculpey® Oven-Safe Work Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Uncured clay may damage unprotected furniture or finished
surfaces. Be sure to cover your crafting area appropriately.

Start with clean hands, unwrap and knead clay until soft and smooth. Immediately wrap/seal any unused non-dry clays to keep them fresh.

Step 2

For a bumble bee we will need a big yellow teardrop, some long strips of black for stripes and a black cone for the stinger.

Step 3

Push the black stinger cone onto the bottom of the body. Wrap the stripes around the body and trim if needed.

Step 4

Make two little white teardrops.

Step 5

Flatten the wings on the top of the body.

Step 6

Flatten black ovals to the face for eyes. Add a little black smile.

Step 7

Add pink cheeks with powder, or blush, or chalk.
