Project Instructions
    Getting Started with Liquid Sculpey:
Please make sure your work area is covered and you are not working on an unprotected surface. We recommend working on the Sculpey® Oven Safe Work Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Uncured Liquid Polymer Clay may damage unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Be sure to cover your crafting area appropriately. - Stir Liquid Sculpey® completely. Thin with Sculpey® Liquid Clay Softener as needed - Wash hands after use (we have found that baby wipes work best)

    Baking:
• It is important to use oven thermometer when you bake the liquids so that you can ensure your oven is at the correct temperature. • Do not microwave the liquids. They must be baked in a Preheated oven at 275 ºF (130 ºC) for liquid colors and 300 ºF (149 ºC) for Clear – Do not exceed baking temperatures. • If your piece is less than 1/4” bake for 15 minutes. For thicker pieces that are 1/4” or above bake for 30 minutes. • If your liquid project has become yellowed or discolored in the oven, when you remake it, tent it by placing either – folding an index card in half and placing your project under it or by using aluminum foil over your project.
The measurements for this mixture are based on small bars of each color from the Sculpey Soufflé and Premo Multipack.

Mix together 1/4 bar (12g) of Shamrock Soufflé, 1/4 bar (14g) of White Gold Glitter Premo, and 1/4 bar (14g) of Pearl Premo to make Pearl Sparkle Shamrock. The color can be mixed by hand, the Acrylic Clay Roller, or by using a pasta machine.
Use either a pasta machine on the thickest setting or the Acrylic Clay Roller to make a sheet of Pearl Sparkle Shamrock 1/8” thick or 3.2mm thick.
Use the Palm Leaf texture sheet to impress a deep texture into the clay. Start by applying pressure in the center of the texture sheet to bite into the clay. Then you can continue using hand pressure or the Acrylic Clay Roller to make a deep texture. Gently peel the texture sheet away from the clay sheet.
Using the Jewelry Templates and the blade in the 5-in-1 Tool, cut around the positive shape of the largest Moroccan design.
Cut out two large Moroccan shapes. Smooth the edges of the shapes with your fingertips. You can touch up the design by gently shaping the scallops with the side of the Small Etch ‘n Pearl Tool.
Cut out the center of each large shape using the Small Moroccan design shape.

Poke holes in the top of each piece for jump rings to be inserted later. Make sure the hole is large enough to accommodate two jump rings. One jump ring will be attached to the ear wire above and one jump ring will hold the clear crystal bead below. (Please see finished photo for assembly details).
Bake the pieces following the baking instructions for Sculpey Premo. Allow them to cool completely before handling.

Here is a layout of how the earrings will be assembled together.
Use flat nose pliers to open and insert the jump rings as shown. The large 15 mm jump ring gets a clear crystal bead strung onto it before closing it.
