Project Instructions
    Getting Started:
Please make sure your work area is covered. We recommend working on the Sculpey® Oven-Safe Work Mat, wax paper, or disposable foil.

Start with clean hands, unwrap and knead clay until soft and smooth. Wash hands after use. Wrap any extra clay in then wrapper and then put in an air tight container.
Roll out 2 sets of 6 snakes starting from 1 to 4.5 inches, each snake should be longer than the previous. These will be our rainbow rings. Feel free to store the snakes/clay you won't be using immediately in a closed ziplock bag or under a damp towel to keep the clay from drying

Starting with your shortest snake, wrap it in an upside down “U” shape to make the inner base of the rainbow, cut off the ends with your clay blade to a length you prefer your rainbows to be

Continue adding the additional snakes to the “U” shaped snake from Step 3 making sure each snake reaches the bottom of the previous “U”.

Trim the snakes with your clay blade to match the inner rainbow, refer to Steps 3-5 to make the second rainbow

Take your needle tool or toothpick and poke a hole through the middle of the top ring on the rainbow, this will be the hole for your earrings to follow.

Set aside and refer to step one for drying instructions.

Once dried, paint the rainbow according to your colors of choice, feel free to add any painted details you'd like. Then finish with Sculpey Gloss glaze!

Take two of your jump rings and open each with pliers. Put the first jump ring through the rainbow hole you made in Step 6 and close. Then add your second jump ring to the first and add the earring hook and close shut with your pliers. Repeat again for the other earring.
