Project Instructions
Preheat oven to 275 °F. Test temperature with oven thermometer for perfectly cured clay. Condition all clay by kneading until it’s soft and smooth or running it through the Clay Conditioning Machine for several passes on the widest setting. Fold the clay in half after each pass and insert the fold side into the rollers first.
Trace cuff bracelet shape on paper and cut out to make pattern. Condition the Black clay and roll out two sheets of clay, slightly larger than the pattern, on the thickest setting of the Clay Conditioning Machine. Wrap one clay sheet over outside of cuff bracelet. Trim clay edges even with cuff edges.
Use mini-cutters to cut out pattern from second black sheet. Lay over clay sheet on cuff, over the top again. Press sheets together and trim edges. Use the needle tool to make texture over the surface of the second layer of clay.
Bake cuff bracelet for 30 minutes. Remove cuff bracelet from metal form while the clay is still warm. Once the clay is off the metal cuff form, allow to cool the rest of the way.
Paint one cutout with Sculpey Glaze. Sprinkle glitter in cutout and shake out excess. Repeat with each cutout. Allow to dry.
