Project Instructions
    Getting Started:
Please make sure your work area is covered and you are not working on an unprotected surface. We recommend working on the Sculpey® Oven-Safe Work Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Uncured clay may damage unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Be sure to cover your crafting area appropriately.

Start with clean hands, unwrap and knead clay until soft and smooth, or condition by running clay though a Pasta Machine. We recommend using a designated machine for clay purposes only. When working with multiple colors, clean hands with soap and water or baby wipes (we have found that baby wipes work best) before switching colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces firmly together. Wash hands after use.

    Baking:
Begin by preheating oven to 275 °F (130 °C). After you are done creating; for best results bake clay on an oven-proof surface such metal, aluminum foil, an index card or the Sculpey® Clay Mat at 275°F (130 °C) for 15 minutes per 1/4" (6 mm) thickness according to package directions. Oven safe glass or ceramic surfaces are also acceptable for baking; however please note that the baking times may take longer as the glass or ceramic surfaces take longer to heat up. For best baking results, use an oven thermometer. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME.
From 1/2 bar of Glow Orange, make a big round head. From the remaining 1/2 bar, make little triangle shaped ears, four club shaped legs, and a tapered tail.
From 1/8 bar of White, make a teardrop shaped furry spot for under the chin and a cone shape for the muzzle and nose.
From 1/16 bar of Glow Blue and 1/16 bar of Glow Green make lots and lots of little balls for polka dots
Roll all the Orange body parts in the little dots so they stick on
Roll the body parts on the work surface so that the spots smooth into the surface of the body parts.
Bend each leg so that a little foot is formed at the end of each one. Group the legs together around the toothpick with the tapered ends at the top. Position the tail between the two back legs. The toothpick will give support to the Kitty’s extra big head.
Place the neck fur in front of the legs. I thought my neck fur was way too big so you can see in the last photo that I made the neck fur half as big as it was originally. Put the head on top pushing it down on the toothpick.
Add the White nose to the bottom of the face and smooth it around the edges. Add the ears to the head.
Add big Black eyes with White circles on top, Black pupils, and White highlights. Put a black triangle nose on the tip of the White muzzle. Poke little whisker holes and push in a mouth. Bake kitty following the baking instructions for Glow-in-the-Dark. After he is exposed to bright light for a few minutes, he will glow when you turn out the lights!
