New Color Tuesday! Introducing Sculpey Soufflé™ Peony

The top row of the large photo contains the 3 colors that I'm mixing with the featured color on the far right. The bottom 3 colors are the colors mixes created by mixing the color directly above with equal portions (1:1) of the featured color.

I am notoriously not a fan of pinks. However, I’m totally OK with this version of pink in Sculpey Soufflé™ Peony.  Yes, it’s pink.  Yes, it’s pastel. But I feel a strength in it that I don’t with many other pinks. And I should point out that the 1:1 mix versions backs up that strength in how much the mix changed from the original mix color – all of them into a really unique color-especially the Canary/Peony mix and the Sea Glass/Peony mix.

Oh!  I used the Sculpey Soufflé™ Almond Rose from last month as the background for this month’s earrings.  Originally, I wanted to make little tiny flowers with the mix bits, but it quickly became evident that it was NOT a floral day for me (or my fingers), so I just jumbled some of the chopped bits of the mix colors onto the Almond Rose background.  These are now my new favorite earrings!
