The top row of the large photo contains the 3 colors that I'm mixing with the featured color on the far right. The bottom 3 colors are the colors mixes created by mixing the color directly above with equal portions (1:1) of the featured color.
I admit it, even though I really hate most pinks, I DO have a color soft spot for a French Pink tone- especially in my beloved Soufflé. The combination of color tone and the inherent surface texture of Soufflé create a gorgeous suede pink look to the finished product.
I also really like how the 1:1 mix softened the tones of Latte, Canary and Turnip. But the Sea Glass/French Pink was a surprise that the French Pink held its own and the mix created is a soft grey (and I adore greys!).

The earrings I made this month features ONLY the French Pink tone with a slight texture. I used a Leather Dupe cutter from Blushes and Neutrals in a different way than the creator intended and just folded the clay to the top. I spread the pieces over the medium “bump” on a Sculpey Hollow Bead Maker for curing.
