The top row of the large photo contains the 3 colors that I’m mixing with the featured color on the far right. The bottom 3 colors are the colors mixes created by mixing the color directly above with equal portions (1:1) of the featured color.
I decided to play with some of the Sculpey Premo™ warm tones this week to see what the interaction with the cooler/more neutral tone of the Sculpey Premo™ Ice Blue Pearl would do in 1:1 mixes. I love these 3 mixes so much and especially when teamed together – they kind of have a 60s vibe to me- sort of Franciscan tableware colors.
Right out of the gate with a color mix surprise – Apricot/Ice Blue Pearl 1:1 created a warm Ivory that I quite LOVE…
By far the most surprising 1:1 mix was the Mustard Yellow/Ice Blue Pearl mix that yields a soft yellow/green that I remember in velvet throw pillows when I was younger. (wish I had those now!)
The Ice Blue Pearl had a BIG effect on the Alizarin Crimson to create a cheery warm wine tone!
