New Color Tuesday! Introducing Sculpey Premo™ Tan

The top row of the large photo contains the 3 colors that I'm mixing with the featured color on the far right. The bottom 3 colors are the colors mixes created by mixing the color directly above with equal portions (1:1) of the featured color.

How often have you wished to tone down a stronger color – maybe lighten it – but without losing the integrity of the original color? Sculpey Premo™ Tan seems to do just that! Each of these strong colors in my NCT were softened slightly but still maintained the integrity of their original color – they didn’t become pastels.  In addition, Premo™ Tan is a great team player just on its own – for example, imagine teaming this color up with Premo™ Black and White for a classic color palette for all seasons.

I was particularly pleased to see when I applied a black and white transfer to the new Premo™ Tan that it cured to a lovely tone reminiscent of a fine leather color! (I added small dots of Gold acrylic paint as well after I completed the transfer).
