No, you aren’t mistaken! It’s baaaack!! And I personally couldn’t be happier to have this lovely warm neutral back for a second lap around the clay table. Butter Yellow is a warm neutral that doesn’t appear to have a drop of a gray tone in it – it’s 100% happy and warm. This clay color is also a wonderful warm background for florals, silkscreens and all my other fav surface treatments. I love all of these soft, happy tones in the 1:1 mixes, don’t you?
The rich warm tone of this clay color was perfect to add into a classic Mokume Gane technique to make this wonderful piece for my new Summer hat!
