Now this is my kind of palette! Bright, warm colors that trend towards mid-century memories.
The top row of the large photo contains the 3 colors that I’m mixing with the Ivory (I) on the far right. The bottom 3 colors are the colors mixes created by mixing 4 parts of the color directly above with 1 part (4:1) of the Ivory. Of course, any of these colors or mixes can be used in combination with any other colors you wish, but I’ve picked 3 palettes of colors using ONLY the original colors and their mixes above.
#1 Oh yes, the Ivory in the 4:1 mixes softens the Pistachio and Mandarin perfectly to team up with the Mandarin straight up. I could wear these colors almost every day!
#2 I love the palette pairing of all the original colors (and I would add the Ivory if my sub palettes weren’t just 3 colors). They are bright but very mature – nothing childish about these colors! And that hint of mid-century..YUMMY!
#3 A sophisticated pastel palette that promises fun times ahead! Great colors for a bedroom or yarn or a polymer clay palette…
