Project Instructions

Thoroughly condition the metallic or pearl clay of your choice by running it through the Clay Conditioning Machine 15 – 20 times. The clay will appear to be streaked when you first start the process. The streaks will disappear and the clay will be one uniform color when it’s ready.
Roll a sheet of clay on the widest setting of the Clay Conditioning Machine.
Choose a Texture Maker and lightly mist it with water.Remove the Texture Maker and use a paper towel to remove any excess water.
Using the flexible blade of the Super Slicer, parallel to the surface of the clay remove the top layer of the clay. The design will be in the clay but the clay surface will be totally flat.
Put the sheet of clay through the next widest setting of the Clay Conditioning Machine.
Use the mica shift sheet to cover beads, create pendants, bracelets and earrings of cover home décor items.
Once your item is complete bake according to package directions. Finishing the piece by using wet/dry sandpaper and then a buffer really brings out the shine and three dimensional effect of the mica shift.
