Heat set inks
Gold pigment ink
Bone folder (for smoothing and blending)
Card stock paper for baking surface
Oven for curing clay
Preheat oven to 275 °F. Test temperature with oven thermometer for perfectly cured clay. Condition all clay by kneading until it’s soft and smooth or running it through the Clay Conditioning Machine for several passes on the widest setting. Fold the clay in half after each pass and insert the fold side into the rollers first.
Stamp several images on a thin (#5- Clay Conditioning Machine) sheet of White clay. Stamp gold pigment ink on top of the original stamped designs
Cover the stamped images with a very thin sheet of Translucent clay (#6 setting - or as thin as possible). This embeds the transfer so you can touch it. Trim the piece.
Cut a small sheet of images Cover the clay snake with the sheet and additional sheets of gold and copper.
Trim the ends with a blunt cut and slip on the ring. Connect the bracelet together, joining with firm pressure. Stretch the bracelet gently to fit over your hand to test the fit. Use rocking pressure on the table to smooth the connected ends.
Bake at 275 °F for 30 minutes. Use an oven thermometer to assure temperature accuracy.
