Make your latest clay creation look its best with a gloss glaze designed to complement polymer clay. Our gloss glaze at Sculpey® covers imperfections and enhances the appearance of your crafts. Whatever you make, from embellishments for a scrapbooking project to jewelry you give to friends, you want it to look beautiful and unique. Our glaze improves your end product, giving you the impressive finish you desire.

How Clay Gloss Glaze Makes Projects Look Better

When you finish your project, you want it to look the best. Our glaze offers a smooth seal to help the clay settle. It covers any tiny problems that may arise in the material, such as bubbles or imperfect lines. This product also provides an ideal surface for colored clay paints and finishes.

Our glaze is compatible with acrylic water-based finishes. It provides a durable finish for baked clay items, too.

How to Use Our Gloss Glaze with Polymer Clay

Our gloss glaze is simple to apply and doesn't take long to finish. Use these steps for optimal application:

  • Twist the cap to create precise flow control. You want to squeeze only a little out at first until you get a feel for the flow.
  • Apply thin coats to your polymer clay. Allow 30 minutes of drying time between the coats. Two to three coats are best.
  • Allow the glaze to air dry for 24 hours.

Once the time is up, you can use your finished polymer clay product confidently. The glaze will give it the polish you desire and make it look even better.
