Designed by Amy Koranek

A mixture of Premo and Soufflé provides unique and endless color combinations. In this floral slab design, the colors are tinted to pull them together into a coordinating family. Getting Started:
Please make sure your work area is covered and you are not working on an unprotected surface. We recommend working on the Sculpey® Oven-Safe Work Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Uncured clay may damage unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Be sure to cover your crafting area appropriately.

Start with clean hands, unwrap and knead clay until soft and smooth, or condition by running clay though a Pasta Machine. We recommend using a designated machine for clay purposes only. When working with multiple colors, clean hands with soap and water or baby wipes (we have found that baby wipes work best) before switching colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces firmly together. Wash hands after use.

Begin by preheating oven to 275 °F (130 °C). After you are done creating; for best results bake clay on an oven-proof surface such metal, aluminum foil, an index card or the Sculpey® Clay Mat at 275°F (130 °C) for 30 minutes per 1/4" (6 mm) thickness according to package directions. Oven safe glass or ceramic surfaces are also acceptable for baking; however please note that the baking times may take longer as the glass or ceramic surfaces take longer to heat up. For best baking results, use an oven thermometer. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME.
The color mixing for this project will be:
1/4 block of Sea Glass Soufflé + 1/4 block of Silver Premo = Silver Sea Glass
1/8 block of Bright Green Pearl Premo + 1/16 block of Silver Premo = Silver Green Pearl
1/16 block of Igloo Soufflé + 1/16 block of Canary Soufflé = Light Canary
1/8 block of Bluestone Soufflé + 1/8 block of Igloo Soufflé = Light Bluestone
1/16 block of Igloo Soufflé + a tiny pinch of Cherry Pie Soufflé = Light Cherry Pie.

Use the Acrylic Clay Roller or a pasta machine on the thickest setting to prepare the Silver Sea Glass to a sheet 1/8” (3.2mm) thick. Make sure the sheet will be large enough to accommodate two of the second largest teardrop cutters.

Use the Acrylic Clay Roller or a pasta machine on the fourth thickest setting to prepare a sheet of Silver Green Pearl. Use the Clay Blade to make very thin tapered strips of Silver Green Pearl and apply these randomly to the background.
From Light Canary, make little teardrop shapes and arrange them on the background to create two large flowers. Use the Needle Tool to score details in each petal.
Use the Blunt Point Tool to add teardrops of Light Bluestone petals along the stems.
Randomly add small pearls of Light Cherry Pie and Igloo using the Small Etch ‘n Pearl.
Tint some of the Light Cherry Pie with a little more Cherry Pie to make a deeper pink. Use this color to make a center for each large flower. Add the Light Cherry Pie centers with the Small Etch ‘n Pearl.

Cut strips from the Silver Green Pearl and cut those into diamond shapes.
Apply the diamond shapes using the Blunt Point Tool along the stems.

Add dot details with the Needle Tool, or Etch ‘n Pearls, or Blunt Point Tool.
Cut out two of the second largest teardrop shapes using the Teardrop Graduated Cutters.
Use the Medium Circle shape from the Jewelry Design Template to create two equal size buttons of Silver Sea Glass. These will be used as the top part of the dangle earrings.
Lay out the earring design as shown. Poke holes for later assembly with jump rings. Make sure the holes are large enough to accommodate the jump rings.

Bake the pieces following the baking instructions for Sculpey Premo.
Use flat nose pliers to open and close the jump rings connecting the pieces as shown.
Glue the ear posts to the backs of the earring pieces as shown. Allow the glue to dry completely before handling.
