Start with clean hands and work area. Good work surfaces include wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Knead clay until soft and smooth. For best results, clean your hands in between colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces together firmly. Bake on oven-proof glass or metal surface at 275 °F (130 °C) for 15 minutes per 1/4 â€ (6 mm) of thickness. For best baking results use an oven thermometer. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURES OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME. Baking should be completed by an adult. Wash hands after use.ASSEMBLE ALL PIECES BEFORE BAKING.
To Make the Lizards Body:Roll out a log of Glow Green. Round one end for the head and taper the other end for the tail.Use the Plastic Needle Tool to draw a mouth onto the head.
To Make the Feet:Create four flattened club shapes. On the rounded end of each club, use the Plastic Needle Tool to create toes. Attach the legs to both sides of the body.To Make the Rings around the Tail-Roll out three thin snakes. Attach them to the tail as shown.
To Make the Eyes-Form two balls. Press them onto the head.To Make the Spots on the Body-Form eight small balls and flatten them. Press them on to the body.
Form eight smaller dots to place on top of the Glow Orange Dots.To Make the Tongue:Create two thin snakes, tapered at one end. press the two snakes together and seperate the tapered ends to make the tongue split. Attach the tongue into the mouth.
Form 2 tiny balls for the center of the eyes. Press them onto each eye.
Bake according to the instructions above and allow to cool.
