Do not use unbaked clay on unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Start with clean hands and work surface area. Good work surfaces include wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Knead clay until soft and smooth. For best results, clean your hands in between colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces together firmly. Bake on oven-proof glass or metal surface at 275 °F (130 °C) for 15 minutes per 1/4” (6 mm) thickness. For best baking results, use an oven thermometer. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME. Wash hands after use. Baking should be completed by an adult.
Begin by preheating oven to 275 °F (130 °C). Test temperature with oven thermometer for perfectly cured clay.
To create polka dot clay- Roll out a thin sheet of Black clay about 1/16” thick. Shape various sizes of White dots and press them firmly into the clay. Roll over it with a roller to press the dots on the black clay.
Roll out sheets of green and pink clays about 1/8" thick. Cut out various shapes and sizes from the sheets of green, pink, and the polka dotted clay.
Layer the cut outs on top of each other as shown and press them together firmly. Place a small ball of pink or green clay into the center of each flower stack. Press a crystal into the center of each dot if desired.
Bake the flower shapes according to manufacturer's instructions. Once cool, attach to your flip flops with clear fast dry glue. Allow to dry overnight before wearing.
