Your workspace:
Please make sure your work area is covered and you are not working on an unprotected surface. We recommend working on the Sculpey® Work ‘n Bake Clay Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Uncured clay may damage unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Be sure to cover your crafting area appropriately.

Getting Started:
Start with clean hands, unwrap and knead clay until soft and smooth, or condition by running clay though a Pasta Machine. We recommend using a designated machine for clay purposes only. When working with multiple colors, clean hands with soap and water or baby wipes (we have found that baby wipes work best) before switching colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces firmly together. Wash hands after use.

Baking:
Begin by preheating oven to 275 °F (130 °C). After you are done creating; for best results bake clay on an oven-proof surface such metal, aluminum foil, an index card or the Sculpey® Clay Mat at 275°F (130 °C) for 15 minutes per ¼" (6 mm) thickness according to package directions. Oven safe glass or ceramic surfaces are also acceptable for baking; however please note that the baking times may take longer as the glass or ceramic surfaces take longer to heat up. For best baking results, use an oven thermometer. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME.
Roll a snake of Acid Yellow approximately 5” long and ½” thick. Cut 21 equal sized pieces from the snake and roll into balls.
Using the flower and Leaf mold make 21 large plain petal pieces. For best release spritz the mold between each petal. Separate the petals into 3 groups of 7.
Roll another snake of clay approximately 5” long and ½” thick cut 15 pieces and roll into balls. Using the flower and leaf mold make 15 medium sized plain flower petals. Separate these into 3 groups of 5.
Roll another snake approximately 5” long and ½” thick and cut 12 small equal sized pieces and roll into balls. Using the flower and leaf mold make 12 small plain petals. Separate these into 3 groups of 4.
Take a small amount of clay and run it through the clay conditioning machine on the #2 setting. Using the second to smallest circle cutter and cut out 3 circle shapes.
Arrange 7 large petals onto one of your circles in a flower shape. You should press the petals so they hang over the edge of the circle about ¼ to ½”. Do this for all 3 circles. Use a little drop of Bake & Bond to secure each petal.
Next arrange the 5 medium petals into a flower shape on top of the 7 petals. Use the Bake & Bond again to make sure they stay secure. Curve the petals up slightly. Do this for all three flowers.
Arrange and press the 4 small petals together in a flower shape and press onto the center of the 5 petals now. Curve the petals up a little. Do this for all 3 flowers.
Add some Bake & Bond to the center of each flower and press your Swarovski crystal in the center of each. This is only if you are using heat safe crystals. If you are not then do not use Bake & Bond. Just press the crystals to make indentations for when you glue them in later after baking.
Using the Needle Tool, make holes in the petals 1/8” inward to attach the jump rings after baking. Poke the holes in two petals opposite each other. Make sure the holes go all the way through so that you can fit your jump rings in later. Each flower should have two holes each in petals opposite one another.
Bake according to directions above in Step 1 and allow to cool.
Attach the 3 flowers together with large jump rings. Attach chain to the last flower on each side. Cut the chain to the desired length. Attach clasp.
