    Getting Started:
Please make sure your work area is covered and you are not working on an unprotected surface. We recommend working on the Sculpey® Oven-Safe Work Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Uncured clay may damage unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Be sure to cover your crafting area appropriately.

Start with clean hands, unwrap and knead clay until soft and smooth, or condition by running clay though a Pasta Machine. We recommend using a designated machine for clay purposes only. When working with multiple colors, clean hands with soap and water or baby wipes (we have found that baby wipes work best) before switching colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces firmly together. Wash hands after use.

    Baking:
Begin by preheating oven to 275 °F (130 °C). After you are done creating; for best results bake clay on an oven-proof surface such metal, aluminum foil, an index card or the Sculpey® Clay Mat at 275°F (130 °C) for 15 minutes per 1/4" (6 mm) thickness according to package directions. Oven safe glass or ceramic surfaces are also acceptable for baking; however please note that the baking times may take longer as the glass or ceramic surfaces take longer to heat up. For best baking results, use an oven thermometer. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME.
Condition 1/2 block of Black Glitter clay. Run this through the clay machine on the #1 setting.

Place the ear template on your clay sheet and cut out two Black Glitter ears. Smooth the edges with your fingertips.

Condition 1/2 block of Pink Glitter clay. Run this through the clay machine on the #3 setting. Place your inner ear template on your clay sheet and cut out two inner ear pieces. Smooth the edges with your fingertips. Press the Pink inner ear onto the center of each Black ear. Set aside.
Roll quarter sized balls of the following colors: Yellow, White, String Bean.

Run each of these colors through the clay machine on the #2 setting.

Use the larger 3/4” flower cutter and cut out two larger flowers from your White sheet of clay.

Use the small Sculpey flower cutter and cut out four small flowers from your Yellow sheet of clay.

Use the Sculpey leaf shape cutter and cut out four leaf shapes from your String Bean sheet of clay.
Use your 5 in 1 tool and create lines defining each petal on the white flowers. Curl up the edges of the petals slightly.

Roll two small Yellow balls and press them in the center of each white flower.

Use the rounded end of your 5 in 1 tool and press gently in the center of each Yellow flower to make them into more of a cup shape. Roll four tiny Pink Glitter balls and press them in the centers of the Yellow flowers.

Use the pointed end of the 5 in 1 tool to make center veins down each leaf shape.
Bake all pieces at 275 degrees for 15 minutes. Allow to cool.

Use your hot glue gun to glue the Black ears on the right and left sides of the headband.

Glue the larger White flowers in the center of each ear. Glue a little Yellow cup flower on either side of the White flowers. Lastly glue a Green leaf on either side of the Yellow flowers for each ear.
