Getting Started:Do not use unbaked clay on unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Start with clean hands and work surface area. Good work surfaces include wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Knead clay until soft and smooth. For best results, clean your hands in between colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces together firmly. Bake on oven-proof glass or metal surface at 275 degrees F (130 degrees C) for 15 minutes per ¼” (6mm) thickness. For best baking results, use and oven thermometer. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME. Wash hands after use. Baking should be done by an adult.Begin by preheating oven to 275 degrees F (130 degrees C). Test temperature with oven thermometer for perfectly cured clay. For best results, condition all clay by running it through the clay dedicated pasta machine several passes on the widest setting. Fold the clay in half after each pass and insert the fold side into the rollers first.
From 1/2 package Blue Glow, make a flat disc for the top of the space ship.From 1/4 package White, make a flat disc for the bottom of the space ship. Also make a flat eye ball and a little highlight for the eye.From 1/4 package Black, make two discs for the space ship. Also make a flat disc for the eye and a tiny highlight for the eye. Make a sliver for the mouth.From 1/16 block of Green Glow, make a little disc.From 1/4 package Orange Glow, make an egg shape for the alien head and two little antennas. Also make eight tiny lots for the lights on the space ship.From 1 small amount of Original Glow, make four tiny lights for the space ship
Place the White disc onto the bottom of the Blue space ship. Pinch the top and bottom of the space ship together and pinch the edges together.Place one of the Black disc on the top and one on the bottom of the space ship.Place the lights on the space ship.Put the Green Glow disc on the top of the space ship. Push a little indent in the center of the Green disc. Put the head of the alien in the divot of the space ship. Add the antennas, the eye details and the little mouth to the head.
Bake according to the directions in Step 1
