    Getting Started:
Please make sure your work area is covered and you are not working on an unprotected surface. We recommend working on the Sculpey® Oven-Safe Work Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Uncured clay may damage unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Be sure to cover your crafting area appropriately.

Start with clean hands, unwrap and knead clay until soft and smooth, or condition by running clay though a Pasta Machine. We recommend using a designated machine for clay purposes only. When working with multiple colors, clean hands with soap and water or baby wipes (we have found that baby wipes work best) before switching colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces firmly together. Wash hands after use.

Begin by preheating oven to 275 °F (130 °C). After you are done creating; for best results bake clay on an oven-proof surface such metal, aluminum foil, an index card or the Sculpey® Clay Mat at 275°F (130 °C) for 30 minutes per 1/4" (6 mm) thickness according to package directions. Oven safe glass or ceramic surfaces are also acceptable for baking; however please note that the baking times may take longer as the glass or ceramic surfaces take longer to heat up. For best baking results, use an oven thermometer. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME.
Condition 1/4 block of Copper Premo. Sheet the Copper Premo through the pasta machine to the second thickest setting or use the Acrylic Clay Roller to make a little sheet that is just under 1/8” thick. Score shallow lines in the clay with one of the purple modeling tools.
Cut out a 1.5” circle from the clay. This will be the waffle cone.
Flip the waffle cone over so the grid is on the back side. Roll a little tapered piece of Mint Green. Position in the center of the waffle cone with the tip very near the edge of the waffle.
Roll the waffle up around the Mint Green taper and gently overlap the outside edges as shown. Use your fingertips to shape the cone as desired
Add a little more Mint Green so that it shows just above the cone and provides a nice base for the other flavors
Add a ball of Apricot and a ball of Rose Quartz to the top of the Mint Green
Use the scoop shaped tool to push into the bottom of the ice cream scoops and pull a little ice cream down on top of the scoop below it.
Push the ice cream scoops down over the little gaps you made in the last step with your fingertips.
Roll little drips of each of the ice cream colors and place them on the ice cream and on the cone.
Add a little dollop of White Liquid Sculpey to the top of the ice cream.
Roll little sprinkles from Mint Green, Clearwater Blue, and Pale Amethyst. Plop the sprinkles into the topping. Bake the ice cream cone following the baking instructions for Premo. When the cone is completely cool, glue on a pin bar and allow to dry
