You’ll feel like an Egyptian princess when you wear this fabulous bracelet. Rich colors imitate jewels and a sprinkling of crystals adds just the right sparkle.
Do not use unbaked clay on unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Start with clean hands and work surface area. Good work surfaces include wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Knead clay until soft and smooth. For best results, clean your hands in between colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces together firmly. Bake on oven-proof glass or metal surface at 275 °F (130 °C) for 30 minutes per ¼" (6 mm) thickness. For best baking results, use an oven thermometer. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME. Wash hands after use. Baking should be completed by an adult.
Begin by preheating oven to 275 °F (130 °C). Test temperature with oven thermometer for perfectly cured clay. For best results, condition all clay by running it through the clay dedicated pasta machine several passes on the widest setting. Fold the clay in half after each pass and insert the fold side into the rollers first.

Use the Sculpey Tools™ Clay Extruder for Your Project
Use the Clay Conditioning Machine on a #1 setting to roll out a sheet of Ultramarine Blue. Use the Super Slicer to cut this sheet to 2” wide and 9” long.
Condition about ¼ package of gold clay until it is warm and soft. Insert into the clay extruder and press the plunger until several feet of clay “string” are extruded. Don’t allow the clay string to touch itself
Using the extruded 18K Gold clay, cut four 1” long pieces. Form a loop at each end. Arrange these four pieces in a square with the loops outward and place it in the center of the blue base. This is the center of the first element.
Form a tight spiral at one end of another piece. Form a second spiral and arrange it opposite the first. Trim the straight ends to a point about 1/4” from the spirals and put the point into one corner of the center square. Repeat around the square. This completes the whole repeated element of the pattern. Repeat the entire design element on each side.
Fill in the space between the large square elements with a reversed spiral. Add additional loops and spirals as needed to fill the space.
Finish the design with straight strings of 18K Gold on the top and bottom of the length of the bracelet
Add crystals where desired.
Gently form the bracelet around the cuff bracelet form. The ends may need to be trimmed shorter depending on the wrist size of the wearer.
Bake according to the directions above. When cooled, remove the cuff from the form.
