Start with clean hands and work surface area. Good work surfaces include wax paper or disposable foil. Wash hands after use.
Create the following pieces. Make all pieces proportionate to the size of the body.
Using toothpick add details to the eyes, wings, tummy, and feet.
Assemble Owl as shown. Attach wings, eyes, beak, tummy and feet by pressing firmly together. Allow clay to dry completely.
Once dry, paint feet, eyes, center of eyes, nose, wings, tummy and beak as shown. Allow paint to dry completely.
