Polymer clay may stain. CLAY MAY DAMAGE UNPROTECTED FURNITURE OR FINISHED SURFACES. DO NOT USE polymer clay on unprotected surfaces. We recommend working on the Sculpey clay mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Start with clean hands and work surface area. Knead clay until soft and smooth. For best results, clean your hands in between colors. Shape clay, pressing pieces together firmly. Bake on oven-proof glass or metal surface at 275 degrees F (130 degrees C) for 15 minutes per ¼” (6mm) thickness. For best results, use and oven thermometer. DO NOT USE MICROWAVE OVEN. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME. Wash hands after use. Baking should be completed by an adult.
Begin by preheating oven to 275 degrees F (130 C). Test temperature with oven thermometer for perfectly cured clay. For best results, condition all clay by running it through the clay dedicated pasta machine several passes on the widest setting. Fold the clay in half after each pass and insert the fold side into the rollers first
Roll a snake of White, and a snake of Blue Pluffy approximately 3” long by ½” thick. Press these together and twist. Fold in half and twist again. Repeat. Roll into a ball approximately 1 ½” in diameter. The ball should look nice and marbled. Press your thumb in the center and make a small pinch pot for your little cactus to go in. Smooth and set aside.
Mix ¼ to ½ a brick of Yellow and Blue together to make Green. Roll two balls of Green approx. ¾” in size and one ball of Green 1” in size. Shape these into teardrop shapes. Using your Sculpey 5 in 1 tool make about five vertical indentations down the length of each. In between the indentations make little holes going down vertically on each. Arrange the three cactus in your little marbled pinch pot.
Flatten a small amount of Red clay in your Sculpey clay machine on the #2 setting. Cut out three little flowers with your little flower cutter. Attach a flower to the top of each cactus.
Roll three tiny Yellow balls and press these into the centers of each little flower.
