Whow! Where did this month go? This is the final posting for April (I almost wrote March- what the heck happened to THAT month?). I will be in FLA hanging with Alice Stroppel when this posts and getting ready to drive to Fandango. Let’s get to it!
First, one of my typical left turns, I wanted to see what happened when I mixed the Premo! Accents Pink Fluorescent with other colors, including the new Wisteria. So here is a little visual tour of my crazy mixes. The colors are all mixed 1:1 with the color in the title next to the chip (so the one titled Ecru is Ecru mixed 1:1 with Pink Fluorescent). My favorites are the Cad Yellow mix and the Wisteria mix. The Wisteria color on it’s own is a very pretty soft color. I really like the punched up color that the Pink Fluorescent gives it!
Now to our purples. This was kind of a challenge because of the deep coloration of the purple. It kind of reminds me of the Pantone Color of the Year mixes I did for the Marsala color. I like every single one of these colors and I just can’t pick a favorite (can you?) Although I’m liking that last mix on the bottom right with the Cad Yellow/Pink Fluorescent mix above. They look sassy!
Next week I will reveal the final mixes. I know, it’s May then but I will have just returned the night before from Fandango! I promise to double up the mixes one week for May.
