What a Difference a Day Makes by Teresa Pandora Salgado
As a caner, I often set aside several days to blend, build and assemble millefiore elements. That’s all well and good I suppose, since the payoff eventually comes in the form of a nice complex cane; but, then I’ve got to start the actual project. So there’s another day, maybe two (often more) before I get the satisfaction of holding my creation in my hands. That’s why I appreciate an easy, fun project that I can gaze upon, or even wear, an hour after I started it. Here is one of my faves and you don’t even need a tutorial. It’s made with Sculpey Souffle, and the Sculpey Hollow Bead Maker, Texture Sheet and Round graduated Cutters. After applying mica powder into the design, I wiped the excess of with alcohol. For hardware I used three headpins bent in a U shape. The finish is Sculpey Gloss Glaze. Instant Gratification!
