I love collecting shells, and making charm bracelets from polymer clay. I've combined the two into my Starfish & Florida shell bracelets. We have some gorgeous beaches here on the West coast of Florida, along with the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico! A perfect combination for fun in the Sun. As you can see in the photo the beach is loaded with shells! I feel like a kid in a candy store!

My favorite il_570xN.771038600_to3ashells are the tiny orange Scallop shells that I used in this bracelet. They are the most difficult to find. I also added some Cat's Paws, and some orange Jingle Shells too. Nature's color palette is so inspiring!

Venice Beach is known for its Shark Teeth, I've gathered many there, over the years. I added some sharks teeth to this cuff bracelet, I highlighted them with a touch of 18K Gold Leaf pen, and Turquoise patina ink.

il_570xN.787248180_fmn1We recently took a trip to the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. I love to see the different varieties of Seahorses they have on display. I could watch these little guys for hours! I included a mini Seahorse in this Salmon Pink bracelet, adding highlights with a Silver Leaf pen. The Scallop shells come in a variety of pink shades too, from a pale pink to a deep mauve. I enjoy combining these treasures from the beach into my polymer clay jewelry.
