Another fun thing, I've learned at the Connecticut polymer Clay connection was, how to make a bowl, using canes.

I used the outside off a very small glass bowl, which I covered, starting in the middle and then working my way down to the rim. You want to make sure that all the pieces are attached to each other and that you have a solid rim on the top, so pieces don't break off, when the bowl is removed from the class, after baking. It is also important to make sure that the cane slices have the same thickness and are not too thin, to ensure a solid bowl. This is a fun way to use up any old canes, or just come up with some new ones, which can be used for this fun project.
