As I said last week, I always "think" I dislike a new color, only to have it become one of my favorites. This month I'm sharing why that happened with the new Souffle Mocha.
I wanted to see how well two of the new Souffle colors played with each other and I wasn't disappointed. ALL of these blends are nice (they look like blush makeup colors don't they?) I really like how the Mocha tones down the pinkish tones in the 1:1 mix, coming very close to my favorite shadow flesh color, Derwent 64. (I am an old print retoucher, so I remember all the color numbers of my most used pencils). I can see these colors paired with a turquoise/green color or even with gold. In fact, look at these 1:1 color blends I've done for this month - isn't that a gorgeous palette? I could even see a living room or bedroom in these colors!
