oct2016-4Well of course I had to try Sunset Pearl with Purple Pearl - their mixes aren't going to yield any surprising colors, but they are really pretty colors.  That last mix (4PP/1SP) would be really nice with White Glitter Gold for a frosty palette.  The 1:1 mix would look really nice with a light gold silkscreen on it.  It's just saturated enough to show the pattern, but rich enough to stand up to the gold. Hmm, it would look good with a mono print of gold topped with a b/w transfer as well.  Shoot, I'm thinking of all these things I want to try and I'm about 3/4s clay tool packed for Sandy Camp (haven't even started on clothes yet.  Ack, got to do laundry as well). I bet that last mix would look amazing with premo! Pomegranate as well.  Argh! It's torture when you can't at least TRY an idea right NOW...

Sandy Camp starts tomorrow = wheeeeee!!!  It's like a Staycation for clay for me since it's a retreat right here in San Diego. My son gets the house to himself, but I'm close enough to run home if needed.
