feb2018 NCT-3I'm on the road at the New York Clayathon this week, but I'm checking in with my NCT blog for this week!

Some of our mix colors this month are sticking around - Souffle Cinnamon, Turnip and Latte.  I'm also adding Souffle Robin Egg this week.  I keep forgetting about Robin Egg and it's a pretty nice little color to give you a pop of color or to cool down a palette.  It also mixed a surprising green with the Latte that obviously is a favorite of mine because I featured it in all three of my remix palettes below!  Look at how much that green warms up the palette!

Through the power of Photoshop, let's look at some palette remixes from here!  This is where I clone the actual mix images into new palettes for you instead of just describing them (now you don't have to close one eye, hold your hand over some colors and try to figure out what I'm seeing). I have to tell you now that the Cinnamon, Robbin Egg/Latte and Latte is my favorite - it gives me a 50s/60s vibe. The Cinnamon, Robin Egg, Robin Egg/Latte 1:1 is a way different take on a warm Spring/Summer palette that I really dig!  The final remix, Turnip/Robin Egg 1:1, Robin Egg/Latte 1:1 and Robin Egg is a little cooler spring palette that I really like as well.

As always, my  NCT color mix archive  can be found at: https://www.sculpey.com/project/mixing-colors/

PS! It’s never too late to join the Polymer Clay Adventure 2018.  This year, all the tutorials are release at once, so you can watch them in any order you wish at any time you wish!  The online community has been posting some killer photos of their work they have done from the tutorials.  For more information:http://bit.ly/4syndeePCA2018
