  • Since she was a little kid clay has always fascinated her. She can still remember the feel and fragrance of a lump of Playdoh squished in her hand, pressed up against her cheek. She loved to look and run her fingers over the lines left in the clay the next morning until they were smoothed out. Art has always been big in her family, from music to ceramics, woodworking, painting and pointillism. Her family always encouraged her and her siblings to be creative and expressive. A few years ago, she was looking for a creative outlet to create some silly Halloween zombie finger pendants. Her wife is the one who actually suggested polymer clay and tt was love at first squish! She is a self-taught artist who loves creating whimsical hand sculpted characters and creations. Her favorite artists are Jim Henson, Edgar Allen Poe, Christi Friesen, and Dawn Schiller. She is a member of the Indiana Polymer Clay guild.

She has had the opportunity to teach, demonstrate, inform, and support others in their creative endeavors in polymer clay as a Brand Ambassador for Sculpey - both domestically and internationally. • I was born 1983 in Prague, Czech republic, where I still live and create. I have two kids (boy and a girl) and loving husband. I am a pretty normal girl, maybe sometimes too headstrong. Until I became mother, I was skateboarding, and became also champion of Czech republic in 2006. I have a master`s degree in biology – genetics from the Charles University of Prague, and mother nature still inspires me. On the other side – I love geometry as well. I create with love and as it passes through the hands. Creating for me is an escape from reality, from the stereotype, and in a way, from the children and husband. And I love to teach, experiment and bring out new techniques. Since 2016 I became a full time artist. And it is a dream job. While teaching I travel around the world, meet new creative people and get to know different cultures, habits or food.

  • She loves to sculpt anything her heart desires using a mix of creativity, fantasy, sparkle, and imagination.  Based in Colorado, Jenny has worked with Sculpey polymer clays for over 25 years, and has been delighted by the colorful medium since she was young.  Jenny attended art school, but is entirely self-taught when it comes to polymer clay. In 2015 Jenny launched her clay studio, Wishing Well Workshop, where she enjoys creating what she calls, “dimensional illustrations”, mostly focusing on fantasy art.  She spends time conceptualizing her whimsical designs by using her knowledge of structure, composition and color to provide truly one-of-a-kind sculptures. She loves using natural elements like stones and driftwood she’s collected from her beloved Montana because she believes that her favorite place should have a place in her art.  Jenny Sorensen says her purpose on earth is to create and share, and she finds true joy when she shares her ideas with others through her polymer clay workshops, demonstrations, and lessons across the country.
