Well of course I had to see how the new Sculpey Soufflé™ played with some of the Sculpey Premo™ metallics! Normally, I would have one of the golds in the trio, but I decided to mix it up and use Premo™ Pearl instead – and it didn’t disappoint! It created a color very similar to 18K but with the mica a little more scattered.
Of course any of these colors or mixes can be used in combination with any other colors you wish, but I’ve picked 3 palettes of colors using ONLY the original colors and their mixes above.
#1 I really like that Bronze/Ochre mix – kind of a slightly work penny color. And it plays as the middle color between the other two colors in this combo.
#2 Ahh, warm Summer colors for sure! Maybe late Summer with that Bronze/Ochre combo.
#3 I was totally surprised at the deep green color that the Peacock Pearl and Yellow Ochre created! This is a real jewel tone green with a glimmer to it – and it looks great with the Pearl and Peacock Pearl in this palette!
In case you missed it – I loved this color combination of Yellow Ochre, Robin Egg and Raspberry so much from my mixes that I had to create some wildly striped earrings (that got snatched up by my friends immediately!)
