The top row of the large photo contains the 3 colors that I’m mixing with the featured color on the far right. The bottom 3 colors are the colors mixes created by mixing the color directly above with equal portions (1:1) of the featured color.
I couldn’t WAIT!! Sculpey is releasing a brand new Sculpey Premo™ color this month and I just HAD to mix my NCTs for this month with it. But, until the color is released, I’ve called it a “mystery color” and greyed it out. I will edit the blogs after the color is released to show the color. In the meantime, have fun guessing what the new color is going to be from the mixes.
Okay, I’m really playing with 3 wild card colors this week. I just NEVER KNOW what Wasabi is going to do in a mix- except surprise me. This 1:1 mix is no exception. This is a gorgeous shadow flesh tone (it is the old print retoucher in me getting wowed by a shadow flesh tone).
That Cayenne 1:1 mix is starting to lean toward Alizarin Crimson territory-and I do love me me Alizarin mystery in my clay!
Turquoise 1:1 mix – what the heck? That is moved into an entirely different color family!
