Quick Clean and Dirty Magnets for the Dishwasher

I like these so much, I think I'll make a set with clips on them for the clothes baskets also! I can never tell if there are clean or dirty clothes in the baskets in the wash room since my boys don't seem to bother with the “unnecessary” steps of folding and putting away their clothes!

Step 1

Roll out the Premo! Sculpey Wasabi clay on the #1 setting of the Sculpey Clay Conditioning Machine and set aside. Repeat with the Premo! Sculpey Magenta Pearl.

Step 2

Set up the letters on the Alphabet tool by starting with the handle facing you. Roll the letters so that the word reads from RIGHT to LEFT. Set any remaining letter rolls on the blank area. Gently press your letter together to remove any spacing. Apply the Pearl Ex by swiping the rubber chisel tool (opposite end of the medium ball tool) through the Black Pearl Ex and then wipe it across the face of each letter. Blow gently to remove any excess Pearl Ex powder.

Step 3

Press gently into the clay and remove the stamper. Use the craft knife to cut out a random shape from the clay.

Step 4

Set this layer of clay onto the Magenta Pearl layer and trim leaving about ¼ inch around the edge.

Step 5

Roll a thin snake of the Sky Blue clay. Pinch off small pieces of this snake and roll to create small balls that are evenly spaced around the edge of the Wasabi clay area.
