Liquid Sculpey Ghost Window Clings and Paper Craft Embellishments

N/A

These easy to make ghosts are a great way to decorate your windows and scrapbooking projects.

Getting Started

Preheat oven to 275 °F. Test temperature with oven thermometer for perfectly cured clay. Condition all clay by kneading until it’s soft and smooth or running it through the Clay Conditioning Machine for several passes on the widest setting. Fold the clay in half after each pass and insert the fold side into the rollers first.

Step 1

Add glitter to the container of Translucent Liquid Sculpey. A little goes a long way. Shake very well.

Step 2

Prepare eyes, eyebrows and mouth: Eyes: Make 2 small balls of Turquoise and gently push them together. Add 2 much smaller, flat White circles of white onto the Turquoise balls. Add 2 tiny balls of Black clay onto the White circles. Eyebrows are elongated triangles and the mouth is a flat Black circle. Set these facial items aside.

Step 3

Squeeze the Liquid Sculpey onto the tile in the shape of a ghost. Bake at 275 °F for 5 minutes

Step 4

Remove the tile from oven. Adhere the facial feature with small dots of Translucent Liquid Sculpey; it’s a great “clay to clay” adhesive, but must be baked.

Step 5

Return your ghost to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes.

Step 6

Let cool and then peel the ghost off the tile. He’s a great window cling but also a fantastic card or scrapbook page decoration!
