Getting Started
Preheat oven to 275 °F. Test temperature with oven thermometer for perfectly cured clay. Condition all clay by kneading until it’s soft and smooth or running it through the Clay Conditioning Machine for several passes on the widest setting. Fold the clay in half after each pass and insert the fold side into the rollers first.
Step 1
Make 15/16” White ball into flattened cone for dress. Make two 9/16” White balls into flattened teardrops for wings. Make two 1/2" Tan balls into tapered logs for arms. Make two 3/8” Tan balls into flattened cones for feet. Press pieces on ornament as shown in photo.
Step 2
Make 3/4" Tan ball and press to dress top for head. Brush on chalk or blush for cheeks. Roll several thin Yellow ropes, gently twist and add to head for hair. Make 1/8" Lime Green balls into flattened cones, and press to bottom of dress and in hair in groups of two and three for leaves. Make 3/32” Pink balls and place on leaves in groups of two and three for berries.
Step 3
Roll two tiny Black balls for eyes. Using pointed tool, poke two eye holes in head and press in Black balls. Using pointed tool, draw smile. Flatten Yellow clay and cut out star shapes with blade tool. Place one star in angel’s hands and others randomly on the ornament.
Step 4
Bake 15 minutes according to "Getting Started" instructions above. When cool, brush glue on wings and sprinkle with glitter.
