Step 1 Shapes

Step 2 Shapes

Teardrop - Start with a ball of clay and then taper it on one end with your fingers.

Step 3 Shapes

Coil - Roll a lump of clay until it¹s long and skinny.

Step 1 Green Frog

Divide ½ of a package of Green clay into 4 pieces.

Step 2 Green Frog

To form the main part of the body - use 2 of the Green pieces to form an egg shape. Flatten slightly and with your fingers make it a little pointy at the larger end of the egg shape.

Step 3 Green Frog

To make the back legs/flippers - use 1 part of the Green clay and divide it in half. Make a coil with each half. Form each coil into an S shape and attach to either side of the wider end of the body. Using the toothpick make 4 toes in each flipper.

Step 4 Green Frog

To make the front legs/flippers - use the remaining piece of Green clay and divide it in half. Form 2 coils and attach each one on the sides of the narrow end of the body. Once again use the toothpick to form toes.

Step 5 Green Frog

The eyes are two small Green balls with tiny Red disks on them. Attach these on either side of the head. Narrow the end of the egg shape body again to make sure you maintain the shape of the body.

Step 6 Green Frog

Using Black clay, make small irregular shapes and randomly place on the frog. Smooth down with your fingers.

Step 7 Green Frog

Bake your frog at to 285 °F for 20 minutes. Cool completely before touching.
