Need a clay that looks like stone? Granitex is the answer. Tiny fibers mixed into the clay create this stone-like effect. This unique clay combines the look of granite and the convenience of oven bake clay, making it ideal for jewelry, home décor and miniatures. This fabulous clay is easy to condition and is available in eight subtle, pastel tones which can be painted with water base acrylics if desired. Try mixing a bit of Sculpey III into the Granitex to create your own tint. Hint: Use Blue Granitex to imitate denim for clothing on figures. Granitex is available in an 8 piece sampler pack.

Bake at 275 °F  (130 °C) for 15 minutes per 1/4 in  (6 mm) thickness.  DO NOT MICROWAVE. Baking should be completed by an adult. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME.
