The best way to avoid dark color pigments in clay from coloring lighter color clays is to always work from the lightest color to the darkest color in your project. It is helpful to wash or clean your hands (with baby wipes) when switching from one clay color to the next. We also suggest cleaning the rollers of your past machines by running a baby wipe through to avoid any color transfer.
