Kentucky's Mammoth Cave Retreat - 10/29/2013
The Kentucky Mammoth Cave Retreat took place October 23rd through the 27th. The setting was magnificent, the weather brisk and clear. This retreat was different than most in that it didn’t offer classes or free “claying” time. Participants were divided into six pods. Each pod was given the challenge to collaborate and create a nature themed sculpture. The results were beyond our wildest dreams. We learned, we collaborated, we grew as artists, we created a memory. Hats off to the organizers, facilitators and special guest Sage Bray, editor of The Polymer Arts.
