Orlando's Clay Fandango May 2013 - 05/07/2013
Clay enthusiasts participated in a long weekend of claying, learning and sharing sponsored by the Orlando Polymer Clay Guild. The retreat, with it’s safari theme, offered classes by three marvelous teachers, Alice Stroppel, Suzanne Ivester and syndee holt. The classes were varied and each night teachers and other participants offered informative and fun demonstrations. Did you know you could create a cane using a fork? If you’re looking for a fabulous weekend in a restful and beautiful setting put this event on next year’s calendar.
PaperWorld/CreativeWorld 2013 - 02/11/2013
Polyform representatives displayed our full product line at PapewrWorld/CreativeWorld in Frankfurt, Germany, January 26th through the 29th. The show boasted 2,967 exhibitors and 83,600 attendees. It was a wonderful International platform for Polyform to show our products and interact with our international partners. Demonstrator, Martina Weller, engaged booth visitors with an assortment of polymer clay techniques.
Craft and Hobby Show 2013 - 01/16/2013
CHA – The Craft and Hobby Industry held their Winter Trade Show in Anaheim, California January 12th through the 15th. Iris Weiss, Education Manager attended the show with Designer, syndee holt. We met with many craft industry friends and saw some unbelievable artwork. Mixed Media was by far the most popular trend.
Halloween Kids' Event - 10/31/2012
On October 31st Polyform participated in Club Kidfield’s Halloween event at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Illinois. Hundreds of kids created Sculpey Glow In The Dark ghosts. The kids had a great time, and so did we!
2012 Chicago Area Polymer Clay Guild Retreat - 10/24/2012
As reported by Catherine Riske - The Chicago Area Polymer Clay Guild held their annual retreat in magnificent Oregon, Illinois the weekend of October 13th. Attendees shared clay techniques and project ideas along with the group spirit. The highlight of the weekend was the Bead Core Challenge, hosted by Polyform Products. Using Premo, everyone made a bead that the group voted on. Gretchen Amberg was the grand winner, but all had a great time using the bead cores. It was a relaxing and fun weekend for all.
Sandy Camp 2012 - 10/17/2012
Close to 80 polymer clay enthusiasts filled a huge tent on the beautiful grounds of the Temecula Creek Inn, October 10th through the 14th. Creative demonstration, an informative glue discussion, camaraderie and on the spot demos kept everyone’s creative juices flowing. Polyform conducted a contest using our premo! Custom Bead Cores. Jean Sheppard, Stargazer, won the contest with her fantastic phoenix. It was a great retreat!
