Project Instructions
Condition the 1/8 bar of Pearl clay and ½ bar Blush clay. Mix the colors together until thoroughly combined.
Roll out a sheet of the mixed clay color to a #3 setting on the Clay Conditioning Machine. Lay out on an index card. Using a small flower design (from the assortment) that has been lightly misted with water gently but firmly press into the sheet of clay. The stamped images should be slightly indented creating a “quiltedâ€ look. Repeat 2 more times. Highlight stamped area with PearlEx powder. Using the craft knife trim around the image. Trim on index card so as not to cut your work surface. If desired add heat set crystals.
Bake all embellishments as directed and allow to cool.
Create the small flower embellishments. Using the attached template cut the light paper in the small size. Stamp the “friendsâ€ sentiment on the left side of this piece of paper. Cut the darker patterned paper to the larger size on the template. Use the glue runner to add the light paper on to the darker paper. Use the glue runner to add one of the ribbons vertically on the right side of the light colored paper. Refer to photograph. Using white craft glue attach the 3 floral embellishments evenly space on the ribbon. Allow to dry. Cut a strip of paper that is wider than one of the remaining ribbon. Use the glue runner attach the paper around the middle of your jar, create the seam in the front of the jar. Add the ribbon on to the paper. Add the remaining ribbon to the lip of the jar lid. Using the glue runner attach the friends embellishment to the front of the jar. If desired add a circle of patterned paper to the top of the jar. Add your potpourri
