Premo!

So this comb tool (bottom right) in the new Sculpey Technique  DesignTools set is great for creating bargello.  All you need is a sheet of striped clay and drag the tool perpendicular THROUGH the stripes.  Easy right?  Except how do you get a striped sheet of clay?

A Premo Polymer Clay covered tin with Swarovski Crystals is fabuous gift to give or to make for yourself.  I recently shot a video demonstrating the Chevron cane and fel in love with it.  I loved it so much that I decided to use the left overs to make a veneer to cove a tin with.  To give the tin some va va voom, I decided to add some Swarovski Crystals.

I got tired of paying big $$ for metal end caps for my beads so I devised a way to make them using the Sculpey Etch and Pearl tools.

I don't know about you, but I have always loved owls.   They are just so beautiful.   Very regal and majestic.

Sometimes in the summertime when I am laying in bed and the windows are open I wake up to hear an owl or two hooting.   Sometimes it's just one but other nights I have heard two hooting back and forth to each other.

Hello everyone.   This will be a short post as I am getting ready to move.    We are staying within our same town but

moving just the same.   It is time for me to start packing up my clay supplies and crafting things so I'll be taking a short

break from creating.

I am excited though to set up my new crafting space!  Looking forward to getting re-organized and re-charged.

We are very lucky in Brunswick to have a wonderful farmer's market on our downtown green every Tuesday

and Friday throughout the summer.

I look forward to going each week.   It is just so nice to walk around and look at all the beautiful stands

filled with vegetables, fruits and berries.   There are flowers, herbs, plants and local honey.   The farmer's are

friendly and the mood is happy.  I love buying produce that is locally grown.

Inspiration can come from so many places.  Some unexpected!

My boys and I were over at our neighbor's house taking care of their cats while they were away.  I happened

to notice this cute little painted wooden sign hanging on the wall.  It said "If friends were flowers I'd pick you".

I thought this was so cute.

I had been racking my brain recently trying to come up with a gift idea for the ladies I work with.  At the end

Now I've done it... I've basically invited the whole polymer clay community into my studio, and you know what they're gonna find out... I'm just not that organized! You'd think with 3 filing drawers, 26 storage drawers and 30 cabinets, I'd have "a place for everything and everything in its place." Well, I do have a place for everything, but rarely is everything in it's place. Are you like this?
