Britta Lautenschlager

I grew up in a small town in North Germany  and currently living north-west of Boston with my wonderful husband and our three great teenage kids. I discovered Polymer clay for the first time, while living in Germany, in 1987. I was always interested in crafts and picked up some books and clay and absolutely fell in love with it. I now work mostly with Premo and Sculpey.

I love to make figures, but also venture into making jewelry using techniques such as caning, mokume gane, and mica shifting. Working with polymer clay is rewarding and fun and the ideas and the things to be done with the clay are limitless and the cost to start this craft is very low.
