I don't know about you, but I have always loved owls.   They are just so beautiful.   Very regal and majestic.

Sometimes in the summertime when I am laying in bed and the windows are open I wake up to hear an owl or two hooting.   Sometimes it's just one but other nights I have heard two hooting back and forth to each other.

I really love sunflowers!   I think they are such a happy flower.   I finially grew a few small ones this year.

Next year I would really like to try to grow a row of the big Mammoth ones.   Anyway, sunflowers are a fun fall flower.

Although most have gone by now I thought it would be fun to try to make one using the Sculpey push mold that

has leaves and flower petals.

Well October is here and I decided to dig out my Halloween decorations.   I don't have too many but I love to put out what I have.  Having a few decorations around the house just makes the holidays feel more festive and fun!

I love to put things away and then take them out each year.   Sometimes you forget what you have.

Hello everyone.   This will be a short post as I am getting ready to move.    We are staying within our same town but

moving just the same.   It is time for me to start packing up my clay supplies and crafting things so I'll be taking a short

break from creating.

I am excited though to set up my new crafting space!  Looking forward to getting re-organized and re-charged.

I was thinking what I would like to write about next and I got this idea to make a gnome.  I guess I am kind of sticking with a garden theme this month.   My inspiration came from that funny travelocity gnome that you see on TV.   I really love gnomes and have made them before but I wanted to make

a different one this time.   I thought it might be fun to take pictures as I make him.   I did not know how he would turn

We are very lucky in Brunswick to have a wonderful farmer's market on our downtown green every Tuesday

and Friday throughout the summer.

I look forward to going each week.   It is just so nice to walk around and look at all the beautiful stands

filled with vegetables, fruits and berries.   There are flowers, herbs, plants and local honey.   The farmer's are

friendly and the mood is happy.  I love buying produce that is locally grown.

Inspiration can come from so many places.  Some unexpected!

My boys and I were over at our neighbor's house taking care of their cats while they were away.  I happened

to notice this cute little painted wooden sign hanging on the wall.  It said "If friends were flowers I'd pick you".

I thought this was so cute.

I had been racking my brain recently trying to come up with a gift idea for the ladies I work with.  At the end

Hello everyone!  It is great to be back on our design team blog.  I have so enjoyed reading what my fellow designers have been up to.  I have some fun things that I would like to share with you during this month of June.

I just finished up another fun of year of being an assistant pre-school teacher.  Our classroom consisted of 14

3 to 5 years olds.   As the assistant teacher one of my main jobs is to do an art project with the children each day.

Here is a super easy way to make fun Holiday Candy Canes or Lollipops for gifts, packages or your own tree!

I used Premo clays in Frost White Glitter, Pomegranite, and Green.   Condition your Frost White Glitter clay really

well and then roll out a long snake maybe 5" or so about 3/4" thick.  Next make two very thin snakes of Pomeganite

and Green.   (you can use your clay extruder if you want these to be perfectly the same size)
