Jane Zhao
My name is Jane Zhao. I am a traditional Chinese Landscape painter. I had three excellent teachers who helped me become proficient in this art. I discovered Polymer Clay and became a member of the San Jose (California) Polymer Clay Guild in 1998. I was featured in articles several times in PolymerCAFE magazine and had two of my items published in "400 Polymer Clay Designs". Also, two items in the "Artful Ways with Polymer Clay". I have been recognized by the Polyform Products Company as a noted Polymer Clay artist in 2003.
Since I moved to Florida from California in 2004 I have been teaching Polymer Clay at the Boca Raton Michaels. At the end of 2004 we started the Southeast Florida Polymer Clay Guild. My work includes Chinese Dragons, Chinese Landscapes, wearable jewelry, home decorations, and very detailed cane work.
I am a certified (Donna Dewberry) one stroke painting teacher. I am also going to get a certification in Bob Ross Oil painting this coming August. I love art, especially polymer clay. I hope that one day I can write a book showing people how to make canes and figures using their own ways in this incredible art form.
