Bonnie Willey
Bonnie Willey is a very busy and talented lady. Born and raised in western Nebraska. She discovered polymer clay in 1995 and found a craft that she could fit into her full time home, a 5th wheel RV; living on the road full time with her husband of 39 years. They travel with his job on the RR. Bonnie has been crafty it seems all her life. Learning to crochet and embroidery before she went to school from her mother. She has always enjoyed making items with her hands. She keeps her hands busy all the time. She has done many different crafts from cake decorating, crocheting, sewing, to photography. She takes the skills she learned from these crafts to use in making items out of polymer clay.
Bonnie started designing for Polyform in 2003. She has also had projects published in leading magazines and has appeared on the HGTV "Carol Duvall Show".
Bonnie makes seasonal pins for her 9 grandchildren's teachers. Whimsical characters are her favorite.
Bonnie shares her talent with others by teaching classes when she can. Going to schools to share her love of polymer clay with others, especially children. It's amazing to see what they come up with. Bonnie's family and friends have been great supporters of her crafting. Her husband has been her greatest support and critic. When she is not working on a project, Bonnie is a camp director of a Boy Scout Camp for two months in the summer. She crochets baby blankets for the needy in her spare time. Bonnie loves hearts and they are somewhere on all of her designs.
