Directions:
Roll out the yellow glow in the dark
clay, and make it quite thick. Use the biggest cutter, and cut TWO
circles to make the eyeball bead.

Press the two pieces you cut together, and squish it nice and tight
to make one blob of clay.

Roll the blob of clay into a nice round, smooth ball.

Pierce the ball of clay straight through with the wooden shish kabob
stick.

Roll out a thin sheet of blue glow in the dark clay. Use the smallest
circle cutter tocut a round flat piece for the iris (colored part
of the eye). Press it to the center of the eyeball.

Make a teeny black dot and flatten it onto the center of the iris.
Make an even teenier white one for the sparkle in the eye and press
it to the side of the iris next to the black dot.
Flatten the remaining yellow, green
blue and orange clays, and use the smallest round cutter to cut one
piece for each bead. Roll each flat round piece into a ball.

Roll each ball into a tube shape, and make sure each one is the same
size. Press all the tubes together, and roll. Fold it in half and
twist, then roll into a smooth tube. Pierce one end with a shish kabob
stick. Make five more marbleized tube beads just like the last one,
and put them all on one shish kabob stick to bake.

Roll out the orange clay so it's flat, and cut 8 orange beads using
the "next to the largest cutter." Roll them all into smooth round
balls. Pierce each one with another shish kabob stick.

Repeat the same process as above, but use the next smaller round cutter,
and cut 8 green beads, and 8 smaller blue beads. Pierce each one with
another shish kabob stick, and leave them on the stick to bake.

Get the last shish kabob stick, and roll out a thin sheet of black
clay. Begin at one long end of the clay, and wrap it around the shish
kabob stick as shown. Smooth out any lines left in the clay so the
beads will be smooth and round. Get your adult to help cut your beads
with the sharp knife or blade. Cut 8 beads the same size. These are
called "tube beads." Leave the cut beads on the shish kabob stick
to bake.

Bake all pieces and beads in a clean baking dish lined with clean
paper or index cards. Don't worry, it won't burn because you will
be baking at 275 degrees for 30 minutes. (Have your adult check your
oven with an external thermometer --- don't trust the dial or readout.
Adjust dial accordingly to reach an accurate 275 degrees F (130 degrees
C). Remove everything from the oven and allow it all to cool.
Stringing the necklace on the plastic string:
When your beads are cool, string the eyeball onto the cord. Working
from each side of the eyeball bead, string in this order, following
the example in the picture:
Black tube bead
Green bead
Orange bead
Striped bead
Repeat 4 times on each side of the eyeball.
Then, knot your necklace cord!
NOTE: If you want your eyeball to have bloodshot "veins", use a red
Sharpie super fine-line marker to draw some on the baked bead.
Add lines to the "iris" with a dark blue gel pen if desired.
