Materials:

• "My Sports" E-Z Release Pushmold
• Sculpey III in the following colors:
  • Purple 513
  • Yellow 072
  • White 001
  • Black 042
• 1 jumbo craft stick
• 1 spring style clothespin
• Acrylic craft paint in green and yellow
• Flat paintbrush
• Self adhesive magnet strip ½" wide x 3" long
• Strong craft glue or Superglue, etc

Directions:

• Condition the clay by kneading it until is soft and pliable.
• Model the jersey and ball: Roll six tiny balls of Black and fill the recessed areas in the soccer ball.
• Roll a ball of White and fill in the remainder of the soccer ball.
• Roll 5 skinny snakes of Yellow.
• Fill in the jersey stripes and collar. Fill the remainder of the jersey mold with Purple. Put the mold into the freezer for about 90 seconds, then "pop" the molded pieces out.
• Bake on an index card placed on a baking surface for 15 minutes at 275°F per 1/4 inch of thickness. Always make certain that the oven has been calibrated by using an external thermometer (available at hardware stores).
• Paint the wood pieces: Paint the front and edges of the jumbo craft stick green.
• Disassemble the clothespin and paint all sides of the wood pieces yellow. When dry, reassemble the clothespin.
• Assemble the pieces: Referring to the photo for position, glue the jersey and soccer ball to one end of the jumbo craft stick.
• Glue the clothespin below the ball. Let dry.
• Cut a 3" length of magnetic strip. Remove the paper backing. Center the magnetic strip on the back of the stick about ¾" from the top. Optional: Use a paint pen to personalize the jersey and clothespin.
