Materials:
- Sculpey
III clays (2 ounces = 1 bar)

of 18 gauge Icy Copper Fun Wire
- 2 Crystal
Rainbow Glass Seed Beads, Blue
- Identi-Pen,
Black
- Acrylic
Paint: Black, White, Spice Pink (optional)
- Double
ended stylus
- Needle
Nose Pliers
- Paintbrush:
#6 Flat
- small
wooden block or any small object with a square edge
- 12"
of 1/8" wide red satin ribbon
- Oven
set to bake at 275 degrees
- Old
baking pan
- Clean
work area

Directions:
- Condition
each piece of clay till soft and smooth. Roll each into a ball.


- Make
the Bone: Gold clay. Flatten into a 3" long rectangle. Use your
fingers to pinch and round the corners so it resembles a dog bone.
Set aside.
- Make
the Head, Feet & Paws: Tan clay. Set the large ball aside for the
Puppy's head. Shape feet with ¼ bar sections and shape paws with
1/8 sections.
- To press
grooves in edge of feet and paws using large end of stylus. Set
aside.
- Make
the Muzzle: White clay. Shape into a triangle. Press center of bottom
edge into corner of wood block to form heart shape. Set aside.
- Make
the Nose, Tail & Ears: Chocolate clay. Pinch a tiny piece off ½"
section. Roll into a small ball for the nose. Roll remainder into
a snake making a point on one end for the tail. Shape ¼ bar sections
into ears as shown. Set aside.
- Assemble:
Apply Liquid Sculpey sparingly between sections before pressing
in place.
1. Press nose in place on muzzle.
2. Press muzzle on front head. Press seed bead eyes in place
as pictured. Press ears on opposite sides of head.
3. Insert wire from top to bottom centered through head. Center
head on top edge of bone. Continue pushing wire till bottom
end extends through the bottom edge of bone. Use pliers to bend
a tiny U on bottom end of wire. Gently pull wire back up through
head till U is concealed in bottom edge of bone.

*If painted
eyes are preferred, omit seed beads. Dot eyes Black with large end
of stylus. Dot smaller with White.
